NO LITTLE LIVES
Outside of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Anna O'Neal operates a “micro” sanctuary for abandoned and injured farm animals. In October of 2024, O'Neal learned that Abigail, a sanctuary pig resident for three and half years, was suffering from an inoperable tumor. She began providing comfort, keeping in line with her philosophy to provide a place for animals to “live on their terms.”
CROSSING THE LINE
On August 29, 2024, Karsen Kitchen became the youngest woman to cross the Kármán Line at 21 years old, fulfilling her dream of going to space.
